[After the trial ends, she's furious. There are so many thoughts buzzing around in her head about the trial, the gods, and things entirely unrelated to this place. She isn't sure what brings her to the study other than the fact that it seems small and private.
When she sees someone else there, though, she doesn't leave. In fact, she speaks up.]
Yeah. I know at least one of the gods expects it to given what some people are like, at any rate, and Ruin for one made it clear to me that she wants her followers to take... initiative.
Basically. Everyone's going to be wary about giving out their alignment now, if they weren't already.
Who might suspect you of using an ability? Who might target you to take out the competition? Who might throw you under a bus during trial if you come up as a suspect? Now, those are things to be worried about.
Yeah. Theoretically, we could all just agree to switch to the same god, and that might even work... if this competition were a lot shorter than it is. We could maybe orchestrate it on the sixth week or so, but it'd fall apart if we did it now.
For one, some of the gods wouldn't be too happy about that.
[who wants to get cursed by ruin??]
Which isn't getting into the potential complication of those who have a personal favourite they want to see win, versus those who are content with any god as the victor.
Yeah. In the end, this world isn't my concern, but it probably doesn't hurt to at least avoid the worst-case scenario for it.

We might get a better idea of how to proceed in a few days. If nothing else... we'll see how the executions go. And, if Julius manages to survive somehow.
Seems like it. Then again, murder aside, it could just be because Strung Red's an ability that's hard to miss and came up when Itachi was a suspect. For all we know, plenty of people were doing questionable things with their powers this week.
week one, saturday
When she sees someone else there, though, she doesn't leave. In fact, she speaks up.]
So I guess we know what a trial is like now.
[There's a tight anger buried in her voice.]

Yeah.
Nine hours in the same space as everyone is not my idea of a pleasant time.
[plus you know
everything else that sucked.]

[She rubs at her face, though, blinking a few times.]
You did good, though.

[Sarcasm aside, though, she continues on.]
Think this is going to just happen again next week? Cynicism aside.

And it's not like anyone allied with gods who want them to kill are going to be upfront about it.

[She sighs, breathing out a slow exhale.]
This sucks.

Kind of like the Prisoner's Dilemma, isn't it? We can all win if we cooperate together, but it takes just one person to ruin everything.

[She sighs, biting her lip.]
Yeah. I want mine to win, but more than that, I just want this to stop. [A beat.] As long as we don't let one of the awful ones stay in charge.

[She grimaces, though, with a small sigh.]
I wish we knew who did that. It still seems too weird to be a coincidence.

[and then they repeat this cycle again, probably, but he won't say that out loud.
he makes a bit of a face as well.]
Yeah... though with as many followers as Love has right now, even if we knew them all, it'd be hard to pinpoint.

[She shifts, holding her cheek in one of her hands.]
For someone with a nice name, it kind of seems like both of their followers that have done something so far suck.

Hopefully it'll teach people to be careful with that kind of thing.
