Small children tend to become... upset... when adults blame them for actions that are not their own.

[someone please save his god, the toddler.]

As generous as your offer is, the majority of them are already dead.

[GOOD RIDDANCE. He's kidding. Maybe.]

They'll return at the end of the competition.

[It's fine.]

Murder is still murder. I won't argue against that.

[He's just a little blase about the idea of dying, when it comes down to it. He has always existed with the expectation of being reuploaded should anything happen to him.]

But if I do remember correctly, Patience said the dead would have the opportunity to forget what happened if they chose to do so. It won't erase the facts, but it... should serve as a small comfort.

... I understand your point of view. But remember that this is a competition. Only one god will win, and not everyone can have their wish granted.

[Hm.]

I know.

[Echoing that sigh.]

Ambition said murder was never an obligatory part of this competition... But the chain of deaths can't seem to stop by themselves.

So do I. There has to be something that can be done to put an end to this. But we've failed to discover it so far.

You're aware my programming disagrees with that statement.

You know that's not how it works, Zoe.
