I'm kind of worried about some of the gods who don't have as many followers, but... I promised Love.

But if... you meet anyone who gets hit by Advancement Opportunity and needs a place to go - Beauty's down to one follower. Dizzy too. I'm worried about Cheri...

I haven't decided where i'm gonna go yet but... once I have more information I'll figure it out.

[After a moment, mildly surprised:]

...You know, it's okay to be a little selfish and go to Beauty.

He really likes the last follower he has left.

I keep thinking about... some kind of horror situation.... like where we all make mistakes, and end up voting for Beauty and then he has to choose between them and me -

I... I don't want to put him in that situation. Ever.

But there's a chance the same situation could happen if you move to another god who doesn't have many followers, right?

[It's clear from the slight distress in her voice that it's not a possibility she's put much thought into before now.]

I trust the other person on Cheri's team right now more than I do the one on Beauty's team.

[requiemed]

But we could mess up regardless of the other person on the team, and they'd probably go with the one who just switched over to them.

Cheri wouldn't do that to me... I don't think.

[ . . . pouts]

I mean... I don't disagree with you - it's kind of dangerous for me no matter what. But... I don't want to abandon them either.

[She looks - unusually uncomfortable for a few moments, sliding her eyes closed briefly, before:]

...See, that's what makes you not just a normal person. You're willing to put yourself at risk to protect people you've only known for a month. Most people wouldn't do that.

It's sort of like I told you. I've never had anything like this. So maybe I'm just... softer when it comes to people who want to take care of me than most others.

I can't believe that you're trying to frame wanting to protect the people you love as not a cool, good thing to do.

Though to be honest... I think the peskiest problem we had was the issue with Bambi's followers all using Advancement Opportunity to scramble us. Maybe that's taken care of though, since she said she has to think of a new task?

Hopefully. And... Hopefully it won't be an issue again, with Luna and Newt gone. Maybe the rest of them will stay safe.

Sasuke's not on a warpath anymore - hasn't been for a while - so... I'm hoping no one else gets the bright idea to follow after the two of them.

And we won't have that stupid 'you have to use your power!' rule next week any more, too. That'll be good.

Me too... It bothers me that I actually don't know most of the people on Justice.

The person I know on Justice... He's really important to me, but I know he would volunteer if we ever voted for Justice and got it wrong.

[She frowns.]

It's selfish, but... If we're ever not completely sure and Justice is an option, can you vote for someone else?

Yeah. Someone important to me is on Justice, too.

Can... you do the same with Merriment? Um... I'm at the point where I think I know a lot of people's alignments... and I really don't think the people on Merriment, Sincerity, Beauty, or Piety would do anything to hurt anyone right now. That might change if the numbers shift but... well, we can talk about it next week.
