[Yesterday, she mentioned to him how angry she was about what had happened. Even so, it doesn't seem finding the culprit has made that anger dissipate at all. It's hard to stop thinking about just how unfair all this is, how avoidable it was.
She wanders around the temple for a while, and when she sees Senri there, she speaks up.]
[After speaking with one of the gods a while ago, she spends a while heading around the temple, looking for Senri. When she finds him in the costume hall, she raises a hand in greeting.]
Hey there. You got a minute?
[She’s already betting he’s going to say something cheesy.]
[senri seems to be looking through more coats? the one he wore to west hall initially really wasn't warm enough... and he looks up at the question, and here's the cheesy answer:]
I've got all the time in the world for you, Zo. What's up?
One of the gods told me to find out who you're aligned with.
[Which might read as a request, if not for the fact that she quickly follows it up with—]
You don't have to tell me or anything. It just felt weird keeping it a secret, and I don't want to feel like I'm supposed to have some ulterior motive for talking to you.
[If Senri is wandering around the East Wing today, he might be greeted with an interesting sight. A door to a house swings open, which of course isn't the unusual part - what's strange is what occurs next, and it's very quick.
Zoe exits, wearing a normal coat for a split second; as soon as she walks out the door, though, it's suddenly eclipsed by something far heavier. It doesn't seem that she's seen him yet, because her only reaction is to look down at herself and mutter, exasperated:]
[She looks up from where she's trying to futilely unbutton the mess she's found herself in as soon as she hears that voice, eyes widening once she realizes just who's there. For a few seconds, she looks like a deer in the headlights, until:]
[After that mess of a trial, she's prone to wandering while she clears her head. When she happens to head into the east wing, she finds herself (predictably) in the same coat, but... She can't say it seems to matter as much after all they've gone through today. It prompts a sigh, but not much more.
What demands more of her attention is seeing Senri as she walks by the playground; she's immediately heading his way.]
[This week has already brought her good things. She's escaped The Coat (TM), she's found new places to explore, and most importantly... Someone has been spared. While that would have been taken for granted back home, it's something she has to focus on here.
Another good thing is added when she heads to the ocean and sees Senri there. As she does, she waves as she walks towards him, offering a smile.]
[GOOD FOR YOU, ZOE!!!! Senri is - at the ocean, but he's weirdly bundled up still? He's got a pretty hefty coat on, even though he's shoeless? It's fine. Just accept it.]
Oh - hey Zo.
[he's still happy to see her]
Yeah, the ocean isn't that close to my academy so I don't get to see it a lot! It's suuuuper pretty!
[It's early in the day when she goes looking for Senri. There are a few things she wants to talk to him about, and when she finds him near the temple, she raises a hand in greeting.]
You can take up my whole day if you wanted to, Zo.
[and he turns to her, offering a smile?? he's still sticking to his casual chic type of aesthetic apparently - usual school uniform traded for a big comfy sweater and jeans]
[When she comes looking for him, it’s clear she’s worried. There’s a stiffness in the way she walks due to the bruising, but her worst injury is light compared to his and hidden underneath her jeans besides.
[this is senri and he's just wandering out of the costume hall, trying to fiddle with yet another large sweater he's gotten, though this time he's rolling up the sleeves so that they don't itch on his bandaged arm -
and he looks up when he hears his name called. there's gauze and a bandage over his left eye, and he looks sheepish]
[It's not too long after the trial that she goes looking for him. It's become a tradition born out of concern, and that's especially true this week. With the curse, his eye, and what happened to him at the trial... When she finds him in the kitchen, there's a look of concern on her face.]
...Hey there. You want me to make you an ice pack?
[It's during the afternoon that Zoe's wandering around Love's wing. The bookstore is of particular interest to her, and she stops inside to browse - that changes once she sees Senri, though, raising a hand in greeting.]
