[He's just a little blase about the idea of dying, when it comes down to it. He has always existed with the expectation of being reuploaded should anything happen to him.]

But if I do remember correctly, Patience said the dead would have the opportunity to forget what happened if they chose to do so. It won't erase the facts, but it... should serve as a small comfort.

...I guess. It's just - even if it's not permanent, it's awful.

And even beyond the obvious, it feels wrong to take away somebody's chance to get their wish, you know? Some of them are really important.
