I don't know yet. I'm not sure if I've ever really known - I think she's super sweet and fun to talk to, and that's fine. I'll keep talking to her because I like the conversation.

I think I'm gonna treat it like Dizzy - I'll have faith in her until I can't anymore. But getting to know her isn't bad.

It's just hard to make judgments about someone when you're not familiar with them, you know?

She's lied to me before about something pretty serious.

[She pauses.]

You remember back when Chuuya was still alive, when he said that he defected from her and she threw a fit because of it?

Let's just say I got a way more flattering version of events from her than I did from him, and... I'm pretty sure he was telling the truth.

[usogi]

[ . . . and he frowns.]

I mean... I heard both ends too....

And she told me what her feud with Cheri was about...

And Cheri even told me that they made up?

... I'm not saying that Dizzy's perfect, and I'm not even saying that you should trust her if you don't want to but.... I think she's spent a long time being distrusted just because Disorder doesn't sound like a pretty god title.

I'm worried about her.

I don't think it's an issue of two different sides, here. I think the issue is that she threatened someone if they defected and then tried to make herself seem like the victim when I asked her about it.

[She shakes her head, though.]

I'm not trying to get you to change your mind, either. Just - be careful, I guess.

No.... I agree with you.

[and he just sighs]

I already told her - I'm going to trust her, and other people will do the hardship of distrusting her for me. I'm going to try to get people to give her a chance, because I think she deserves one.

But it can't just be me - she has to put in the effort too.

I guess she just hasn't gotten a lot of chance for that...

[After a few moments:]

You're a really good person, you know that?

[senri outright laughs at that]

.... I'm a pretty average person - who's just... tired of seeing people get hurt, I guess.

[She nods.]

I'm kind of worried about some of the gods who don't have as many followers, but... I promised Love.

[usogi]

... yeah, I don't blame you.

[and he laughs a little weakly]

But if... you meet anyone who gets hit by Advancement Opportunity and needs a place to go - Beauty's down to one follower. Dizzy too. I'm worried about Cheri...

I haven't decided where i'm gonna go yet but... once I have more information I'll figure it out.

[After a moment, mildly surprised:]

...You know, it's okay to be a little selfish and go to Beauty.

[usogi]

.... it's complicated.

[he offers up a weak smile]

He really likes the last follower he has left.

I keep thinking about... some kind of horror situation.... like where we all make mistakes, and end up voting for Beauty and then he has to choose between them and me -

I... I don't want to put him in that situation. Ever.

But there's a chance the same situation could happen if you move to another god who doesn't have many followers, right?

[It's clear from the slight distress in her voice that it's not a possibility she's put much thought into before now.]

I trust the other person on Cheri's team right now more than I do the one on Beauty's team.

[requiemed]

But we could mess up regardless of the other person on the team, and they'd probably go with the one who just switched over to them.

[usogi]

Cheri wouldn't do that to me... I don't think.

[ . . . pouts]

I mean... I don't disagree with you - it's kind of dangerous for me no matter what. But... I don't want to abandon them either.

[She looks - unusually uncomfortable for a few moments, sliding her eyes closed briefly, before:]

...See, that's what makes you not just a normal person. You're willing to put yourself at risk to protect people you've only known for a month. Most people wouldn't do that.

It's sort of like I told you. I've never had anything like this. So maybe I'm just... softer when it comes to people who want to take care of me than most others.
