[It's early in the day when she goes looking for Senri. There are a few things she wants to talk to him about, and when she finds him near the temple, she raises a hand in greeting.]

Hey there. You got a second?

[usogi]

You can take up my whole day if you wanted to, Zo.

[and he turns to her, offering a smile?? he's still sticking to his casual chic type of aesthetic apparently - usual school uniform traded for a big comfy sweater and jeans]

How're you doing?

I should have expected that.

[There’s a small smile in return.]

Better than yesterday, definitely.

[usogi]

Yeah - what was up with that? Did you use your Cunning power to break into his house?

[he's just guessing]

I'm glad you took Connor-san and Ray-kun with you at least...

Oh, no, that isn’t the power I picked. Connor asked me if I wanted to go with him, and I thought it would be good if Ray was there.

[A small shrug.]

[usogi]

I mean.... that sounds right - was it Connor-san's Cunning power then?

[HE'S SO CONFUSED]

Or did you try to break in the old-fashioned way....

I don’t even know if he’s on Cunning.

[usogi]

Does anyone know Connor-san's alignment? Do you think he'd tell me if I asked?

[he frowns]

- ... sorry, I'm extra on edge because I messed up the numbers last week, and we're all trying to find where the Ruin follower went....

But did you have something to talk about, Zo? I kinda - went off with a bunch of questions.

...I'm not sure if he would. He can be pretty guarded about that kind of stuff, but I'm not sure how close you guys are, either.

[She shakes her head.]

...That isn't your fault, you know. You did your best. But... Yeah, there was something I wanted to talk about. Do you have, like, a list of people you know have never defected from their god?

[usogi]

... some.... Not everyone though.

I was actually gonna see if during trial this weekend, people would be willing to show me their coins. If we know they've never defected, they can't be the Ruin follower.

[requiemed]

[A beat, and then:]

...The killer we didn't catch last week, the one that's still alive, has never defected from their god.

[usogi]

... what?

[senri falters]

But - to have been able to leave that message on Aimi, they'd have to be from Ruin. And then Ruin doesn't have any followers anymore.

[requiemed]

[She shakes her head.]

I finished Ambition's task and asked for a hint about who it was, and she told me their coin isn't tarnished at all.

[usogi]

[ . . . . ]

So the former Ruin follower knew - and it was probably accomplices then.

[requiemed]

We should still ask everyone to bring them so we can look. It could help narrow it down.

[A beat, and then:]

This probably goes without saying, but be really careful about who you tell this to.

[usogi]

The only people I tell things to are Shishimaru, Ishirin-san, Ray, and Sasuke.

Of those four, three of them have tarnished coins and the one that doesn't is someone I trust explicitly.

Are you going to tell Ray?

[requiemed]

[She nods.]

Yeah, he's the only other person I was planning on telling. I was planning on finding him soon.

[usogi]

.... has he told you who he suspected?

He told Shishimaru and Ishirin-san already - and Sasuke is cued in on a plan, even if he doesn't have the name.

[requiemed]

No, he hasn't yet.

[...]

It's fine if you want to wait for him to tell me himself, but I think he probably will.

[usogi]

Tell him that I'll be mad if he doesn't tell you - because what you told me just now is... really important for it.

[ . . . ]

Im gonna lie and pretend that I think that the person who hurt Fortune was a Ruin follower - so like we never talked. I think it'll be easier to get them to show their coin then, if they think they're cleared of suspicion if it's perfect.

[A small smile.]

I'll make sure to let him know. And... I think that's a good idea. I'll let you know what Ray says when I talk to him about it.

[And then, after a moment:]

When we were in the house in Cunning's wing, we learned some stuff about the next trial.

That guy is... so much.

What did you find out?

Well, first off, we found out that Cunning has a... very unique sense of humor. To put it politely.

[But anyways.]

...More than one person is going to die again.

[She has to pause for a moment to remember just what was said, and after a few seconds:]
